Super Mario Bros. Two Goombas, apparently bored awaiting Mario's arrival, are sitting and playing a game of cards, no knowing that Mario is already here, in the air, either about the land on the Goomba on the right or jumping over both of them; I prefer the former.



Anyway, this submission is designated for =-black-eye-'s Pixelation Quilt Project: RETRO GAMING. This scene is basically a hybrid of the original NES port and the SNES port, thus there are several parts that are similar to the NES Super Mario Bros or the SNES version. Note that I actually referenced the jumping Mario sprite on the Net and created it from scratch with clothing coloring similar to the later Mario's; this was done to reference the synonymous jumping animation in both the game and box art. If you're still not convinced, here's my rendition in comparison with the original version; my version turned out slightly larger, and there are a slight differences in the limbs. The Goombas are in original poses.

Done in three hours with MS Paint. 30 colors for depicting the scene like the SNES version.
